Advanced Technology Used for Moisture Detection

Did you know that  SERVPRO of Texarkana uses state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide water and fire damage restoration services? As new technologies emerge, we adopt those technologies and techniques that allow us to more efficiently and cost-effectively provide services to our customers in the Texarkana community. We follow the industry guidelines and standards set by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, (IICRC). Depending on the nature of the damage, we may use some or all of the following methods to safely restore your home or business back to preloss condition:

Moisture Detection Equipment

• Infrared cameras can be used to identify the location of water inside a structure
• Hygrometers and other meters that measure the extent of moisture saturation

Water Extraction Equipment

• Submersible water pumps and gas-powered pumps remove high-level water
• Truck-mounted and portable water extraction units

Drying Equipment

• High speed air movers quickly evaporate water moisture
• Industrial grade dehumidifiers pull water vapor out of the air
