DON'T LET A LITTLE SPACE HEATER CAUSE A BIG HEADACHE!

As temperatures are dropping, you may find the need for a space heater. These devices may be little, but they can cause unthinkable damage. Here are some helpful tips for the use of your space heater that you may need to keep in mind!
Never leave a space heater unattended. These helpful devices, that we so often use during colder weather, are one of many leading causes of fires and carbon monoxide poisoning as a result of being left unattended.
Never position a space heater less than 3 feet away from anything flammable. The heater should also be facing toward empty space to reduce risk of a fire.
Never use an extension cord or power strip to plug in your space heater. If you were to use one of these, the circuit could become overloaded or overheat. This could cause an electrical fire.
Never expose your space heater to water. This rule goes for anything electrical. Something even as simple as running your space heater in the bathroom as you shower, could cause damage to the coils and result in a fire.
